I think the question whether the state should tax people is an entirely rant in its own right.
Meh, that didn’t even make sense. Let me try again:
I think the question whether the state should tax people would warrant an entirely new rant in its own right.
Marginally better at least
Especially using your money to invade countries whose actual threat to the United States was wildly exaggerated. I hope you’ll join me in being outraged by that.
Meh, Iraq needed a smack-down, and it got one in spades. Do you have anything else?
So confiscating your money is ok for social programs in Iraq, but social programs in the United States are bad?
No, there shouldn’t be social programs anywhere. Here’s a novel idea, why doesn’t everyone take care of their own fucking self?
Why didn’t Iraq take care of itself?
OK, that makes sense, NOT.
Why didn’t the people of Iraq liberate their own fucking selves? Why should our government force us to pay for their liberation and rebuilding their country with hundreds of billions of dollars in tax money, and run up huge deficits in the process?
I dunno, why didn’t they?
Blalron, 1. milroyj, 0. Give it up milroyj, what little argument you had has just been bitch-slapped.
Who cares? They couldn’t do it themselves, why are we footing the bill and doing it for them? If they can’t liberate themselves, then they don’t deserve to be liberated, right?
Right?
Truly moronic.
I am fiscally conservative democrat. I do not like spending more than we take in. I also do not like corporate welfare or a 200 billion dollar rescue operation that my (and yours) great great grandkids are gonna get stuck with the bill for.
Do you have any more assumptions to deal with?
Forget Iraq taking care of itself, I don’t understand why conservatives shudder at the idea of taxpayer dollars going to programs that benefit taxpayers, but are eager to see taxpayer dollars go to programs that benefit big wealthy corporations. Airline bail-out, anyone?
Is that the same bailout that Tom Daschle’s wife lobbyed for?
What makes you think I give two toots what Tom Daschle’s wife wants?
(This is what’s known as thinking for yourself, Brutus. If you stop listening to Rush and Bill and Ann, you can try it sometime)
I never claimed that you did. For you to give one toot, much less two, for Mrs.Daschle’s lobbying efforts would take some measure of objectivity from you. I would just as soon expect pigs to fly or Moore to be honest.
Uh… in case you didn’t notice, they tried. Saddam murdered them.
I agree, though, it’s not our job! After all, who casme to help us when we were trying to get out from under the thumb of King George III of England?
The French?
The French.
