In the UK it is fairly common to refer to the whole ‘ensemble’ as “meat and two veg”.
There used to be an Italian/Mediterranean place here in Spiffled called “Two Olives and a Pepper.”
“Twig and berries” seems to have some currency in the US as a reference to the “set”. I’ve also heard testicles referred to as “the boys” (apparently somewhat parallel to references to breasts as “the girls”).
I’ve heard “onions” on numerous occasions. Maybe it is a southern/American southwest kinda thing.
In Japanese they are “kin-tama” or golden eggs. Sort of like food-shaped family jewels, I suppose.
