It would be fine if Press Secretary only involved reading off exit poll numbers, but I’m going to have to disagree with you on this one. And strictly personally speaking I don’t find her all that easy on the eyes(not bad, just not for me); so no go there either. If I were to pick on that point, I’d have to nominate Elizabeth Kucinich.
Matthews and Olberman had extremely high praise for her. I wish I could find that interview and their closing comments online somewhere – it was awesome.
Someone needs totake the role of Hudson and say to Isakoff “Hey, maybe you haven’t been keeping up on current events, but we just got our asses kicked, pal!”
That doesn’t actually sound so bad. It doesn’t sound like a demand, so much as a willingness to do whatever the party wants her to do. This, on the other hand, is crazy:
Buwahhh? The “milestone” IS the nomination, is it not? That would be like if Flip saunders came out and said that, while he wasn’t going to conced that the Celtics had eliminated the Pistons from the playoffs, he was willing to acknowledge that Boston had achieved the “milestone” of winning the four games necessary to clinch the series.
I was just about to post a goggle-eyed question about this. After everything that’s gone down, does she SERIOUSLY think that he’ll consider choosing her?
That’s the last thing she can officially do to Obama - offer up herself as veep and make him say ‘no’ officially. Make him look like a schmuck to her supporters for snuffing her. She must know he will say no right? Why else offer it up?
Agreed. In addition to being smart as a whip and cute as a button (excepting that awful haircut), she is effervescent and energetic without being too bubbly, personable, earnest and warm, without too much perky.
He’s probably deft enough to keep her in her box if was forced into it, but he’s not going to pick her. It would be a show of political weakness–completely outside of his entire MO.
Those PACWomen would have to swallow hard if they voted against Obama/Sebelius (sp?)
