Yes. I’ve been confident about Obama’s chances with Hillary since Super Tuesday, but I think the fight with McCain is going to be tougher. Even I have to admit, McCain is a likable enough character and, even though I made the $100 Bricker bet (two years ago, I think) that a Democrat would be elected president in 2008, I’m not so sure I would make that bet today. I have my fingers crossed, and Obama is my preferred candidate (by far), but it’s going to be close.
This is about as close as I get to speechless.
A candidate I can vote FOR. A candidate who elevates my spirits, my heart, my mind.

My grandsons and I watched Mr. Obama’s speech and I told them they were watching history being made.
But all the time I listened and watched and admired his grace and good manners, I wished that Ms. Clinton had been one thousandth as gracious. By giving the speech she did, she managed to take some of the splendour away from a great moment. I was aghast and disgusted at her speech and I do believe that Mr. Obama’s manner betrayed disappointment in the midst of his triumph.
He was subdued, I thought. She spoiled it. And what for?
It’s hard to think anything except that she’s a madwoman.
Still, he’s the man of the hour and I think he’s going to make a good president. Congratulations to America.
I can’t wait for his DNC speech.
Poor choice of Venue??? This was a Brilliant choice in Venue. He’s packed the 17k plus stadium with an additional 15k outside. Not only that But he’s now tread on McCain’s turf. McCain has to accept his nomination right there - Obama beat him to it. I think it was good choice.
Oh I think the election will be close, I just don’t happen to think the debates will be.

I agree and am happy he’s so ballsy, he’s going to have to me. I loved it when he said he couldn’t wait to debate McCain. 
That’s what we need now, a man who’s going to go crashing through the wilderness all over McCain’s ass!!!
