Bad news of the day: Yankees beat Red Sox, knocking them out of the division race.
Glad he’s up and about.
To be fair, the Red Sox were out of the division race well before last night. This game might have eliminated them mathematically, but realistically they were eliminated quite a while ago. For the Red Sox to win the division this year would have required the Yankees to collapse on a scale even greater than Boston’s historical (and hysterical) 2011 debacle.
