I’m looking for a little guidance–are there any Dopers that live in the Niceville, Ft Walton Beach, Destin, FL areas?

  1. I’m looking for an apartment, but am unfamiliar with some of the neighborhoods. Some of the listings say “North Hill”. It all looks flat to me. Where’s North Hill?

  2. Anyone know about Freeport or Ebro?

  3. Weekend entertainment–what’s down yonder?

I’ll be living down there for about nine months, but would like to find something a little more permanent than living in someone’s closet for that long a time.
