Forwarding E-Mailed Articles Problem

Since I have more time to play at the computer than my hardworking wife, I often find weird newspaper articles about her field that I have to share with her.

Most newspaper sites have a button that brings up a box that allows you to input an e-mail address that sends the article directly to the recipient without going through your e-mail system.

This works fine. But if she tries to forward the article to others at her office, they sometimes complain that the result is gibberish.

I don’t know enough about the way these web e-mailers work to offer a suggestion other than cut and paste instead of forward.

How do they work and what format are the articles sent in?
