Gatopescado - Stumpy wasn’t leaving her bag of dog food. In fact, while I was at work she’d pulled the bag close to the treeline and was laying on it. It’s all she had from home, I guess. Now she’s sleeping on my bed.

Just an update. Stumpy was spayed and microchipped yesterday, so I guess she’s officially mine. She’s settling in so very well. It’s been a stressful time, with dog Frank having been attacked and losing a leg. But Stumpy’s just a happy-go-lucky, enthusiastic girl. She’s a Good Dog.

ETA how’s Frank doing?
Beck - Frank’s recovering pretty well. He has to wear an e-collar because he won’t stop licking, and he hates that. He’s learning to adjust to his new balance, although he’s still on restricted activity. I did go into the office for 1/2 a day yesterday, the first time I’ve left him since I brought him home from the hospital, and he did just fine alone in the house. Tomorrow I drive a rescue transport that’ll take me away for several hours, so hopefully he’ll still do just fine.
