Fuck you, Fox Carolina news reporter. You decided that costing a truck driver his job was a fair cost for you getting a story on TV.
So I’m watching local TV, and the local news does an “expose” on what happens if drivers do the (posted) speed limit. Now, everybody that drives understands a few things:
1.The ‘real’ speed limit is the posted speed limit +9.
2.The middle lane is the ‘medium speed’ lane for cars, and the ‘passing lane’ for semis. (I believe that there are rules prohibiting semis from using the leftmost lane on a 3-lane highway.)
3.People that aren’t passing should stay the fuck over in the rightmost lane.
Well, some reporter trying to make a name for himself did an experiment where he did 60 MPH in the middle lane. Not surprisingly, this made it impossible for truckers to pass. A UPS driver came up behind him and, after giving the car driver the benefit of the doubt for some unspecified time, flashed his lights, which is the universal sign of “please move over, as you are in the wrong fucking lane, you asshole.”
The reporter in question made sure to get as much ‘flashing lights’ footage to make his story, then moved over to let the truck pass, but only to capture the license plate number of the UPS truck. They forced UPS to issue an apology . UPS will likely feel the pressure to fire this guy just to avoid the negative publicity.
I looked for a way to contact anybody involved in this story, but the only link related to this story was to the UPS apology. (That’s why these 2 links are so weak.) So fuck you Fox Carolina News. You don’t even have the balls to give a link to anyone related to this bullshit story. A truck driver is trying his best to do his job without developing a meth addiction, and you decide that fucking him over is worth making a non-story about.
Hey, wanna-make-a-name-for-himself reporter, are you happy that you got your face on TV, you self-centered piece of shit? Does telling yourself that this driver was ‘endangering’ the public how you get yourself to sleep at night?
Fuck you. I wish I could remember your name so that I could roast your properly. I hope that your house catches on fire, and the fire department decides to do the posted speed limit, and therefore gets there just a BIT too late to save the house, and that your kids get out safely in time, but you get out just a TAD bit late to save your face from melting off, therefore preventing you from making any more bullshit stories.
