Err… The season is almost over.
The fucknuggets canceled The Chicago Code. Fucknuggets!
I also liked Human Target, but not so much Mrs Whatshername, especially her getting in the way and hating on their methods.
I kinda liked “New Girl”, but she didn’t stick around. She ended up with a better gig on No Ordinary Family, so good for her.
I really liked the first season of Human Target, but after the changes of the second season, it became a show I watched mostly because of inertia (and, perhaps, a vague hope that it would somehow flush out all of the nonsense and get back to how it had been). Angel did the transition of taking a team of scrappy underdogs to the penthouse pretty well, but it just didn’t work out here.
But it’s hard to get too irritated with the network. It asked for stupid changes, but at least it didn’t go all Firefly on the show.
During season 1 - he would have been a match for Jack Bauer. During season 2, Kim Bauer could have beaten him without breaking a sweat.
I liked the first season, I suffered through the second season, hoping it would resume the promise of the first (it didn’t). And most importantly, people didn’t watch the show. Fox gave it a chance, television viewers didn’t. I’m not surprised it isn’t back for a third.
Err…
There’s also an obscure comic book character called Christopher Chance, the Human Target, but he’s completely different from the Mark Valley character.
Chuck Norris once whispered the name “Guerrero”…and locked himself into his saferoom for three days.
Let’s hope so!
Now why would Fox do that?
I see what you did there.
Just watched this week’s episode of The Chicago Code. Best episode yet! This show needs to survive.
End of first season, there was an episode where they broke into some security company, and at the end a cute brunette computer specialist who worked there quit. An episode or so later, she was trying out working for them, and Guerrero called her “New Girl”. It didn’t stick, but the actress is now on No Ordinary Family playing an equally geeky assistant/side-kick.
As opposed to the thief girl that showed up this season.
I am displeased.
