I’ve haven’t read anything about the details, but I noticed that MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow welcomed Gretta Van Sussteren to the channel’s lineup last night. Coincidence? I know nothing but what I’ve written here, but I think not.
Regretta Van Susteren bailed out at the right time , Kelly was a fly in the ointment that needed addressing , there is still Geraldo & Shep and Juan Williams & a legion of up & coming Left leaning benchwarmers & promising contributors being courted to fill any voids …
Now that I bother looking it up, I see Greta opened her parachute back in September when the whole Ailes thing provided her a convenient contractual out.
Still, Fox losing the likes of Van Sussteren and being reduced to replacing Kelly with Carlson. Ouch.

Tucker Carlson is smart, cynical, mischievous and willing to be blunt and politically incorrect. I like him. Not that I plan to watch him, because I don’t watch any of the news network (Fox, CNN, etc.) prime time shows (Maddow, O’Reilly, Hannity, Van Susstren, etc.). Life’s too short to waste my evenings in that way.

I remember a year or so ago I realized the alt-reich was in its ascendancy when I Googled “Fucker Carlson” and the majority of hits were from sites using the easy schoolyard joke from his right. Upon re-Googling it, the gHits proportion seems to have shifted back leftward, but that was quite a shocker since if anything he is right of center.
