Is it still there? Two of the best days of my life happend there.
I saw Frank Zappa there for two shows in one night in 1982 and he said to us (the folks watching the show) that if we missed the first show too bad cause this one is totatly different than the first! And I can hear myself acting a fool during the recording of “Sexual harassment in the workplace” that ended up on the Frank Zappa “Guitar” cd.
Secondly, I had a chance to see Count Basie at the fox that same year. I was having a small talk/bullshit session with a guy in the lobby who later I found out through the opera glasses that I rented was Freddie Green!
