Francis, the "host" of Cooking With Dog, has died

Does anyone else watch this youtube cooking channel? It’s an award-winning Japanese cooking show, and is “hosted” by Francis the miniature French poodle. The show has been on for several years. I’ve learned any number of good Japanese recipes by watching it.

This is very sad. He was a patient, good-looking dog who oversaw all the cooking. Who will “host” now? I read that the voice of Francis is rumored to be the Chef’s son.

I heard about this a couple weeks ago on Facebook. He seemed like a good dog, well trained. I hope Chef continues to use/wear his merchandise.
