I have to say, though, that I was surprised at that closure. Maybe we aren’t Penthouse, but to arbitrarily close a thread simply because there happen to be too many threads on the topic seems a little, well, arbitrary. People want to share sex stories, let 'em, say I.

That’s not a pun, it’s a play on words. The latter may be truly clever; the former virtually never.
It seems to me the thread in question was entirely in keeping with the idea of fighting ignorance; an honest question was asked about the human experience, and folks were offering their own experience and insight. Unless somebody started inserting hotlinks to Swedish “Aunt Peggy” videos from the 1970s, I don’t see a problem.

I was irked by this as well. It does seem a little arbitrary. I don’t think any of the threads violated the rules, did they?
