Hawaii. I’d need some help with the island-hopping, but hey, someone else is paying for it, right?
Either that or Rome.

Greece and tour as many ruins as I could find. A bonus would be to volunteer on an archeological dig. The season wouldn’t really matter, but early fall I guess.
Australia. Tomorrow. One of my best friends lives there, and I need a vacation.
Spain or Japan. I’d rather go to Thailand but if it’s an all expense paid trip, I’d choose Spain or Japan and spend my own money for Thailand since it is very cheap over there.
Although, Iceland would be awesome as well. No matter where I go, I’ll have to hire plenty of guides to take me fishing. Fortunately, those expenses are covered.
Kenya or some place like that. On Spafari. See as much wildlife as possible, meet some locals, enjoy some relaxing pedicures and facials n stuff, & try not to feel too guilty about being a decadent American.
Ditto. There aren’t too many places that we can’t afford to go to, but because of the expense and logistical wrangling involved, this would be my choice, too.
Bhutan. Visitors are required to exchange a large amount of money for each day they are there, something like US$200 a day. It’s their way of keeping out the riffraff. It would be great if this expense were paid.
Two weeks isn’t long enough for some of the places I want to go. There’s either too much to see or it takes too long to get there.
I choose… Peru. In May, for the best weather in all three zones. All expenses means that I don’t have to hike to Machu Pichu… they’ll airlift me in and out. And I can stay in a canopy treehouse hotel in the rain forest. YAY! Let me know when it’s all booked so I can make sure my boss will give me the time off.
I’m pretty sure the word “chandlered” means something different where you live. [blush]
How did you intend it?
Ireland - next week. I am missing the family reunion this year due to financial issues. (I’ll have the money like, the following week, it’s just pathetic!)
I’d love to spend two weeks just walking around Buenos Aires or Istanbul. October should be nice for either location.
I would go to the Barbed WireMuseum in LaCrosse, Kansas.
That way when I got back people would say "You were offered an all expense vacation and you went to see a musuem of barbed wire?
And I would say “It was well worth it.”
It would cheese off
Hell, while you’re at it, you might as well just say Joseph Glidden’s house in DeKalb. Then you have the added value of the site being only 65 miles away in addition to the barbed wire connection.
Personally, I’d like to see more Western Europe. I’ve only seen the southern UK and northern France, so almost anywhere else would be awesome.
Australia. Of all the places on my wish list, Australia’s the farthest, so would cost the most air fare to get to. I don’t know whether 2 weeks would be enough, so I’d pay for a 3rd week.
And I’d probably go sometime around the summer solstice.
Marxxx: I’ve been there. Trust me, it’s not. Not unless you have some insane barbed wire fetish.
Huh? My family were ships’ chandlers a few centuries ago.
