Someone posted this site on another board I post on. Has anyone heard of this, or know any catch to it? I’ve done a google search and a snopes scam search, and turned up nothing, but it still makes me go :dubious:
I’m not a big fan of silver jewelry, and I know that the items probably don’t appear as lovely and lustrous in real life as they do on the site, but it still does seem like a good way for someone who is into silver to get a few pieces cheaply.
Silver is incredibly cheap. So are the semi-precious gemstones they’re using in their jewelry. (You can buy them loos for under a dollar apiece at firemountaingems.com.) They use standard shipping, which is also cheap. The “retail prices” they give are incredibly inflated. The jewelry itself is good quality and would probably sell for about $10 at Target, so if you like the way it looks, you’re not getting ripped off by purchasing it for $6.
I would have given it a go, but they ship to US customers only.
I really like silver.
