Any games out there that are good?
Well, if you don’t need flashy graphics, but are able to use your own imagination, welcome to www.valheru.com
This is a text-based rollplay game, it is literally Everquest without the graphics, and with less people
MUD (multi use dungeon/domain) was one of the first multiplayer games ever and has been around since the dawn of the internet.
Takes a little while to get used to, like anything else, but once you do, you are hooked! There is info on the webpage about how to connect.
Well, Euchre can be fun
What is ''euchre"?
Well if you already own the CD of Ultima Online, there are several free sites to play on.
I play on The Alter Realm…
And a list ofthe top shards can be found here, all free…
If you own the half life CD, then there are several high profile, fun games.
Team fortress, Counterstrike, Day of Defeat, Half life multiplayer.
However, you’d have to buy a half life cd with an unregistered keycode, they are about $15 on ebay.
So i guess thats not free, but that $15 is reallllllly worth playing the games listed above. Counterstrike has won multiple ‘game of the year’ awards.
I really need free games… Thanks for the links though…
Dont forget battlenet and diablo 2
Go get Starcraft. It’s $10 and will be free on Battle.net forever.
http://www.runescape.com is pretty cool
An online RPG/empire building game, more fun than it sounds!
And it doesn’t take too much of your time to play
Turn based strategy in a fantasy setting, all text, but rather good gameplay. Tell’em Ugly sent you.
How much does it cost?
Playing is free. You do need to buy the CD though.
I wish to reiterate what I have been saying to half the people here, I am looking for free games that aare playable online, also for free.
I would actually buy the battlechest, but I’m assuming that it’s american so it’s something like 80 dollars canadian plus shipping.
I blew a lot of time there a couple years back. I recommend Utopia. You’re in charge of a province in a fantasy atmosphere. Provinces are organized into 25 member kingdoms so plenty of good teamwork if you land in a good kingdom.
I haven’t played this game much because I don’t want to get sucked in but some of my friends play it and it looks cool.
There are certain titles availible on certain illegal and unmentionable file-trading programs that have names that rhyme with Blazaa. But I don’t know what it would be.
However, I would reccommend the Half-Life CD if you can find one cheap. Start off on Team Fortress, and then build to Day Of Defeat. There is no better online wargame.
