A while ago, I remember there were many free PC to Phone calling programs and services that were paid for by ads. Now, all of them are the same price as buying a phone card. Are there any ways, programs, or services left now to make free calls (local and long distance) via the computer? Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
No there are not any longer. They all started charging within the last two years or so. The last free service went pay a few months ago. You can get an unlimited number of free 5 minute long calls, but it’s really annoying to keep redialing every five minutes.
Too bad, it was the only other thing I liked on the internet.
