My percentage right now is 62%: 511 wins, 309 losses.
My longest winning streak is 14 games in a row; my longest losing streak, 7 in a row.
Percentage 82%, Won 468, lost 103.
Win streak 68 (current), loss streak 4.
I’m so pleased with 68 I don’t dare play any more for fear of bollocking it up. 
84% win percentage (1002 wins, 197 losses). 29 wins, 3 losses.
I need to get out more.
When I played, my winning % was up around 97%. I would generally reset after every 100 games.
I cleared the stats recently because I was looking at the starting position nobody’s ever solved (#11982).
But on the whole, I’ve moved on to Spider Solitaire. I play the two-suit version pretty much exclusively; I had 63 wins in my last 100 games at that level.
Last month, there was a Freecell discussion in the Pit, of all places.

Gah! Back in the days when I had even less of a life, my winning percentage was about where RTFirefly’s was. Eventually, I got to something along the lines of 960 and 40, and realized that there had to be something more interesting to do with my time (okay, actually, I hit about 900 games and decided I had to get to 1000, just to be able to say I did it. I am not proud of this fact).
Longest win streak was 60 something, longest losing streak was 2. And I know exactly what you mean, Xerxes. I spent the entire time I was on my long winning streak thinking “should I really be playing this? I mean, I might lose, and it’d be a shame to spoil this!” sigh
ARGHHH I just lost my reason for living with this post.
I have been trying to prove if they were all winnable myself. I start Jan 10, 2001. So far, I have completed the first 3517 in order. I have only skipped 1941 and 3202 so far.
Been doing thus under Win NT 4.0.
Stats on my current computer: 217/32 87% Wins:64 Loses:3. I used to play all the time, my record on my ex-wife’s computer was 158 games in a row, with a % around 98. I haven’t been playing as much, and I have noticed that I’m not quite as good as I used to be. Why is 11982 unwinable?
About a year ago I had over 5,000 games and I had paid like bitch-cakes to get it from 85% to over 90%. My best streak was 118 wins in a row. My longest losing streak was 4. You know when you’re an unemployed college kid over the summer you can really rack those things up.

Then my scores got wiped!!! I haven’t been able to play since.
p.s. doing them in sequence, that takes something else. I always just took random.
My win rate is at 70 percent – 375 wins and 163 losses.
My streaks are 25 wins and 6 losses. Currently I’m at 1 win.
I hit game #11982 with ctrl+shift+F10 and it cracked like a plumber’s butt.

Well, yea. But nothing happened.
What it gave me (and donkeyoatey too, I assume) was a box that said, “Choose Abort to Win, Retry to Lose, or Ignore to Cancel,” above an Abort button, a Retry button, and an Ignore button.
This worked for me on Win95 and WinME both, so it seems to be OS-independent, at least within GatesWorld.
Weirddave,if you click on abort, then double click any card, the game is a win.

I didn’t know anyone else enjoyed freecell as much as I do! I cannot go to sleep at night until I’ve made a four game win streak!
I also never even noticed the statistics. Upon checking I see that I have 64% and a 10 game streak but that doesn’t mean much since my daughter occasionally plays too. But NOW I’m gonna start keeping tabs buddy! Nobody will beat me, as I am FREE CELL QUEEN…or so my kid says

I just cleared my stats. Seriously I’m usually up around 65-70 percent. I had about 1700 games played and had a 27 game win streak but a 12 game loser.

I used the cheats for awhile, then I had 100% and however many games I played was my winning streak and a losing streak of zero. Cool, but very boring, IMHO.
No cheats now, I’m cured. I even tried to scrub the cheat sequence outa my brain but you guys reminded me.
It’s a cool game, a time waster, but hey it’s better than me running around the streets. 
Isn’t it enough to make you cry yourself to sleep? I’ve never been able to really play it again.
Just watch out you don’t run into the impossible one. Did a search on “Freecell 11982” and found some truely interesting webpages.
p.s. I never cheated cause I didn’t know how.
p.p.s You know what I did to make it even MORE challenging. I always had to get either red-red-black-black or black-black-red-red. Only then could my anal retentive self be happy with the win.
