I’m glad I live in Hawai’i, so that I don’t have to stay up so late to witness … well, whatever it is we’ll be witnessing when Trump pontificates.
Even if it turns out to be a nothing-burger, it will be a nothing-burger that I didn’t have to stay up past my bedtime to watch.
Of course, Fox “News” is on in the background where Trump is making preparations. No way to tell if he’s actually paying attention to the TV while he’s doing … whatever.
ETA: he seems to be paying more attention to his phone than the TV.
I expect it’ll be more of the same from last night - vague platitudes about American greatness, the usual lies about how everything sucked until he was elected and now everything is perfect, confused rambling about “Communists” (by which he means anyone to the left of Rand Paul), then close with the double handjob dance.
UPDATE: Trump is now watching himself watch TV, which I assume is the most beautiful sight he’s ever seen.
