Has anyone out there used Freedom Pop? Any comments pro-or-con?

I use it. I think I paid $40 for the wifi puck thing, and only use the free version (500 MB/mo). To be honest, I’ve been very disappointed in the coverage. Mostly I wanted to use it for my laptop in the car, and so far it’s only worked on very rare occasions, even on big corridors like I-5. It works fine at home, where of course I don’t need it.
So, I dunno. I think I’ve gotten $40 worth of use out of it, but I certainly wouldn’t pay monthly for it given the coverage.
