Title says it. I need to convert about a gig of mpc music files to mp3 so I can play them in iTunes.
bump.
IIRC there are several music formats that share the extension .mpc. Try using WinAmp input/output plugin combination?
mpc is a musepack file
4U WMA MP3 Converter 3.1.5
has a 20-day trial version and should do the job.
Foobar2000 is freeware and should also do it.

You just need to setup its Diskwriter plugin to use LAME, FAAC, or iTunes (using iTunesEncode). Just load up the MPCs you want to convert to MP3/AAC into a playlist in Foobar2000 then right-click, go to Convert, and click Run. It’ll then convert those MPCs to MP3/AAC for you with all tags intact. Foobar2000 is 100% free.
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm will do it, after you download the MPC codec from http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm .
