Ever have a situation like that? I just got news from my friend that he’s moving back to So Cal on the 17th. So, naturally I am very bummed. Me and him were starting to become really good friends (for a time I had a thing for him, now it’s simmered down to a crush), and i hear this news. It sucks! Fortunately, next school year he’s going to go to school in San Francisco, so he wont be 6 hours away.
sigh i’ll miss him a lot…i guess AIM will have to be compensation enough.
Been there Doobieous.
Her name was Kern Edwards. Last time I heard from her she was in Prague somewhere.
It has been 4 years since I have heard anything. On a regular basis, thoughts and memories remind me of all the fun and interesting things, like powdered Donuts, strawberry Yoohoo and long conversations under the street lights.
By al means keep in touch with your friend.
Osip
BTW every time I see your name, I hear the “bud ice” penguin singing “doobie doobie doo…” Of course I am sure you have never hear THAT one
Sort of. Crystal Jennings. We were pretty good friends starting in fifth grade. In sixth grade she went to a different middle school, but we still stayed friends. In seventh grade she moved across town. Then, after seventh grade (5 years ago), I moved to Kansas City and she moved. I have no idea where she is. I’m thinking Texas, but she could be everywhere. I’ve tried searching for her on the Internet, but that has turned up nothing.
It just happened to me recently. A good friend from grad school, who I was just getting to know, and hanging out with all the time, decided to move back home to New York. It completely sucks, because he was really the only one in this city that I know. Bummer.
