I did some research and I’ve found out that Kevin Costner hasn’t been in a movie under two hours long since 1989.
Is that justice?

Wow, I checked and you are right. Then again, a lot of movies run 2 hours. You could probably find a few actors who haven’t been in a movie under 2 hours lately.
Maybe Harrison Ford or Tom Cruise. I didn’t check those, but I can’t remember a short film with them in it.
Tom Hanks made You’ve Got Mail, which might have been under 2 hrs, but other than that he’s also guilty.
Then again, the real problem with Kevin Costner movies isn’t their length(except Postman). It’s the quality of the films themselves.
Well at least his futuristic epic flop phase is behind him. Maybe that’s justice.
When asked why his movies were so long, ole Kev’ got visually upset and tried to claim that his stories were of a high quality and required the extra length to tell properly. Uh, Kevin, you weren’t referring to The Postman were you?
MST3K fans got to see the best Kevin Costner impersonation in episode #808 - The She Creature in which Mike studies a “non-acting” book. His lesson? Portraying Costner in Waterworld with the line (to be spoken with absolutely NO emotion), “My boat.” Hilarious!
It’s funny because it’s true!
Seriously, what was the last movie Costner did that is generally regarded as being good? I haven’t seen “Thirteen Days”; don’t know how it was received. I liked “Waterworld”, but I consider that a harmless perversion on my part, and would never dream of foisting it off on others.
That leaves…“JFK”? And that was ten years ago.
Criminently, Kevin, what the hell is wrong with you?
