From box to broken in about 15 minutes

My 3 1/2 yr old son got legos for christmas, and there was a lego shark with a hinged jaw that he loved! He’d pretend that the shark was jumping out of the water, swimming around, etc.

For ten minutes.

Then he must have decided it was a hammerhead shark, and decided to start pounding things with it. Tables, chairs, other legos, cousins, the dog… He finally smashed it off the pool table, and destroyed the jaw. All in all, it was about 15 minutes, box to broken.

How long did it take your kid to break their stuff?

24 hours and my three-year-old hasn’t destroyed anything…

…yet, that is.

My 4 year old grandson just pulled the antenna off a remote control car. He didn’t even have it out of the box yet.

A friend of mine bought his boys tricycles. He said to took him all night with a complete set of tools to assemble them His kids took them apart in 10 minutes with their fingers.

I think he exaggerated a tad, but I think we all get the picture.
