From e3 with love (E3 conference stuff!)

So I heard that a Kingdom Hearts 3 got announced. Now, I loved the first, but I had issues with the second because I don’t have any handheld systems, and it seemed obvious that things would have been a lot more enjoyable (or at least understandable) if I had gone through those as well. I believe there have been still more games for handheld systems since then, any idea yet if the third will do the same?

I think at this point the story will be night incomprehensible if you haven’t at least read up on the various games. Luckily if you have a PS3 Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix is coming out, which will allow you to play Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (which adds some scenes to the end of KH1), and will let you play Re: Chain of Memories as well as allow you to watch all the cutscenes from 358/2 days. I don’t think Re: Coded is that important, but Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance are pretty integral, it would seem.

Gametrailers did an hour long video explaining the entire Kingdom Hearts Universe’s Story, if you’re interested. It’s rather… convoluted.

Yes, the story of KH3 is a direct continuation of Kingdom Hearts 3D for the 3DS.

The Division looks really interesting and I’m so very hoping that they’ll be able to pull it off.

Any clue if they’ll do what they did for KH2 and publish a console catchup version that covers both 3DS games? When you are actually interested in a game, you don’t really want to first watch the game on YouTube.
