Me too !
woohoo!
I was going to send in an email, but decided I was too late. But after Rick’s message, I sent in an email too.
I am a winner! All shall love me* and despair**!
*when I serve Baconnaise
**that they don’t have Baconnaise
We actually stopped at 6. I wish we could send more! Thanks to all who sent emails.
Besides the other options, it’s great on popcorn. We make the low-fat low-salt microwave popcorn, spray it with a little olive oil, then shake on the Bacon Salt. Yum!
And might I add: Noooooo! I saw this thread resurrected too late.
I am going to demand a full report on this Baconnaise.
I’m starting to see Bacon Salt in actual stores, locally — and that is a good thing. Hmm… I wonder if you can put Bacon Salt on salmon?
They had Bacon Salt at the Commissary on post the other day. I was amused.
Also: Putting Bacon Salt on salmon should be legal in most states. Check your local statutes though, as IANAL.
I’ve been regularly using Bacon Salt as a steak rub. Works wonderfully. I was pleased to see it’s in my grocery store now, as I’m running out. Can’t wait to try the Baconnaise.
I’m one of the six, and am looking forward to trying it.
Have you guys seen this little extra in the Ultimate Bacon Lover’s Gift Pack:
J&D’s Bacon Lip Balm!!
One of the 6, and bacon salt was really good on pumpkin seeds.
I was #6 (Thanks for taking pity on me, Dave)!
Realising that I’m to late for a free jar I’ve emailed them anyways.
I want to know why Bacon Salt is not on sale here in Merrie England
Oh well, I don’t like mayo anyway.
Okay, so this is gonna get hella confusing if baconsalt sticks around.
I add bacon salt to sandwiches, and we’ve found it to be absolutely necessary on a particular store-brand package of cheesy rice. It’s also really good on shepherd’s pie and chicken à la king, and my husband likes it on cucumber slices! Really, try it with everything, at least once!
The Big Pigs are just what I need! Now I can add it to my Chex Mix with abandon.
