So Im at home enjoying a day off and I run across the Jodi Aria trial.
Travis’s sister is making a tearful victim statement to the jury…saying something to the effect ‘…his throat was cut from ear to ear…’ when… in mid sentence they cut to a commercial. In mid sentence.
And they keep cutting away every few minutes.
Couldnt they let her finish? Couldnt they respect her and the memory of her brother by letting her finish?
I get that TV is in the business of making money. I wish HLN would be a little smarter and empathetic.
Huh. I would have thought that the … what words did you use? Ah, yes … respectful and empathetic thing to do would be to not broadcast the grisly details of her brother’s murder to the entire world for their morbid entertainment. But, yeah, ads are ANNOYING!
I think the details were necessary to show just how brutal MsArias’s actions were; and how cruel. Jodi Arias is evil in a cartoonish way;who would believe some of the things she has done without seeing it oneself? I kinda feel bad for her when they show her siting there stoically in court. I wonder if she would have turned out differently if she was loved?
