Sabotage by whose standard? Objectively, sure, they’d be subverting democracy, but I’m sure they view Bernie as a threat to their beliefs and think they’d be doing everyone a favor by propping up the corpse of Joe Biden like Weekend at Bernies. They don’t have to view themselves as conducting sabotage to do this. They may think they’re saving the party.
Or, much more likely, they didn’t test their code very well.
This is very, very adequately explained by stupidity. There’s a lot of poorly written code in the world. Not surprised at all to see a specialized app fall into that category.

Caucus is a waste of time. He who shows up first and shouts loudest (thinks) they win. The people who actually cast the ‘vote’ have long since made up their mind. Fucking pointless and a bastardization of the democratic process.
Actually, that system works terribly and should be struck down as unconstitutional for the same reasons that partisan gerrymandering should be unconstitutional. Banning a major party from the general election ballot due to the dynamics of an ultra-low-turnout primary half a year before the main election is manifestly unfair to all voters.
