Fuck Trump and his followers

Anyone who continued to call themselves a Republican after Bush v. Gore is anti-democratic fuckhead.

If Trump wins this thing it’ll be because of voters like @Crafter_Man. They don’t care about the future welfare of the country as a whole. They only care about their own self-righteousness. It’s the height of selfishness.

I figured this out after voting for Anderson in 1980.

Either they don’t care because they are idiots, or they are deliberately trying to convince people that there is no difference so that we’ll stay home because they think we are idiots.

So if I don’t like either candidate, I am “self-righteous” and “selfish”? Interesting. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

And still he lies about both sides being equally bad.
Hey, dipshit; once again, if you have to drink a small glass of dirty water or swallow a bucket of shit, does it matter which one you choose?

Incorrect, because the vast majority of people will be voting for Harris or Trump.

Just for the record, who did you vote for?

So your solution was to do what you could to allow a menace back in office? Brilliant, friend, brilliant!

BTW, what is it you don’t like about her police positions compared to, say, Trump’s?

How many times was she impeached? Who did she sexually assault? Which political enemies did she say she would imprison if elected? What was she convicted of?

No, I didn’t say you were selfish because you don’t like either candidate. Way to put words in my mouth BTW…

You’re selfish because you can’t see past the end of your own nose far enough to see the bigger picture. Elections are a binary choice in this country. In this election in particular one candidate will preserve democracy, the other will take us further down the road to fascism. You decided to sit this one out. Your prerogative of course. But don’t act like you’re taking a principled stand because your not. “A pox on both their houses” just leads to everyone getting sick.

Yep.

You are a bit older than me, but yes, we learned when young (well, I assume you were young then).

I’m so sad to see people on this very board proudly standing on their moral high ground to help Trump get elected. While you know that privately they want to see Trump get elected while hiding behind their moral high ground.

That’s your opinion. My opinion is different. I don’t think either of them deserve the presidency. I think both are bad for our republic.

And what are you basing your opinions on? You have yet to actually take a stand of any sort in this thread.

In this election, not voting for Harris is voting for Trump. It matters not that you don’t like her or her policies. If you don’t give her your vote, you’re letting Trump win by default.

You think they are both EQUALLY bad? If so, you are not a very smart individual.

A text exchange with my sister.

Me: I’m dissappointed so many Americans want an autocrat in office. But to add salt to the wound, it’s just plain embarrassing the autocrat they chose is a whiny, crybaby who couldn’t tell the truth if you held a gun to his head.

Sister: The alternative was worse.

Me: The alternative didn’t launch a false elector scheme or send a mob to prevent votes from being counted. Everyone who voted for Trump sent a resounding message: Fuck democracy.

I’m with you. Fuck Trump and his followers. When the leopard’s start eating their faces they won’t get one ounce of sympathy from me.

Fuck all the people who say they dislike Trump as a person but they like his policies. Then you haven’t been paying a bit of attention to what he’s really done, just what he claims he’s done. You’re lazy fucking sheep with eyeballs glued to Fox News and too stupid and fearful to be entrusted with civic responsibilities.

If one wanted to vote third party in 1984 it wouldn’t have been a problem. There was too much of a red wave then.
But now, things are different.

How, exactly, is Harris bad for the country?

As of right now, Day One Dictator has clinched 214 electoral votes while the candidate who has promised to follow the rule of law and also to have members of the opposing party in her cabinet has garnered 179 electoral votes. If you still have time to vote, maybe it’s a good idea to go do it.
