Had a salon appointment yesterday and got to hear from my stylist about the “illegal”( who was given a smartphone at the border!) who came in and got a $300 hair coloring; the tenants she couldn’t evict because of COVID, and, naturally, how Mayor Bass cut 23M from the fire department’s budget. She’s a good stylist and is very kind to me (she no doubt thinks I’m of her political persuasion) but yeah, fuck her. While she blathers, I mentally fact check and refute just about everything that comes out of her mouth.

I once sat in the chair of a MAGA stylist. As she spouted her requisite talking points, I politely explained why her assertions were incorrect.
She ruined my hair. It took 2 1/2 years to grow out. Not the worst thing that could happen, but I’d think twice before piping up again.
