I work at a school that has an abundance of LGBTQ+ staff which cater to students that, in earlier years, would be consigned to asylums or worse. I fear for them.
I get to run Hospitality for science fiction and fantasy conventions run by and filled with LGBTQ+ individuals. I fear for them.
I have neighbors, friends and family that are LGBTQ+. I fear for them.
Maybe on prime-time television shows and a lot of movies. In real life rich assholes can be rich assholes and get away with it.
