He was saying that the Dred Scott decision was still law even though nobody follows it, so the gay marriage decision can have the same status – officially the law, but nobody follows it. Without having to do anything messy like actually getting a constitutional amendment to override the decision.

They are full of shit when claiming she has a right to a jury trial if she is found in contempt again, and they are a great vesuvian eruption of shit when claiming that they have legal authority to block the enforcement of a court order.
She was convicted of civil contempt to coerce her into stop disobeying the judge’s order. You don’t get a jury trial with civil contempt, so if she is convicted of civil contempt again to try to compel her to stop disobeying the order, she still won’t have a right to a jury trial.
If she is convicted of criminal contempt as punishment for repeatedly breaking the judge’s order, she will not have a right to a jury trial unless she is sentenced to six or more months, in which case the jackbooted thugs still will not have any authority to stop her being incarcerated, for it will be up to the the judicial process to meet the requirement for a jury hearing, not for the thugs to block the arrest. CODISPOTI ET AL. v. PENNSYLVANIA, Supreme Court of United States No. 73-5615, 418 U.S. 506 (1974).
If the thugs try to block her arrest (should she again be arrested), I sincerely hope that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and that their sentences include their having to wear diapers and only diapers during their incarceration and throughout their parole.
