The hardcore anti-abortion & anti-gay contingency are probably comparable in numbers to the hardcore pro-abortion & pro-gay contingency. However, there is a great continuum between the two extremes & many many Americans who may have gay loved ones & also may consider themselves somewhat pro-choice can also understand & even share unease about both homosexuality & abortion. They’re not gonna get all exercised about a Tim Tebow FOTF commercial.
Focus on the Family IS hard-core anti-abortion and anti-gay. They are fringe.
