It’s rude to interrupt a man when he’s chowing down on his victory “pudding”!
I’d keep your limbs away from his mouth, by the way.

Little touchier over the loss than you claimed you would be, eh?
There, there.

The modern Right in a nutshell. Standing for nothing other than winning the election. Bravo.
Gee - Republicans are going to try to win the next election. Color me shocked.
Also - if I go back to posts from four years ago I will find no shortage of support for legislative oversight and investigation, right?
Not in the slightest. Genuinely don’t care a huge deal. But you are still a liar without a degree of honor or integrity. I am amazed you actually used the quote button correctly.
My ire is not about the election - it’s about you. I’ve been calling you a liar since you, well, lied so blatantly. The election results haven’t changed that.
You’re a liar.
And there is a bit of a silver lining in the house results. Pelosi no longer at the top of the line for the presidency if some unspeakable event happens.
“The people have spoken, the bastards.”
-Dick Tuck’s concession speech following his loss in the 1966 California State Senate election
who said it was a joke
And should get to work right away. There’s a lot to be done if they’re going to take the country back in 2014.
Don’t discount the victory on the obscene effort to “privatize” workers comp. The good guys one that one, and it’s a huge deal.
I still like you, voters.
Unless you’re the kind of people who are really really really super poor winners/loser. I couldn’t give 2/3rds of half a shit quartered who won, as long as it’s the side that CRIES LESS.
Babies.
I fucking hate LePage. I voted for Cutler but Mitchell would anger me nearly as much had she won. How can we declare a winner when the winner only gets 39% of the vote?
It would be nice if they would try to govern and get things done for the good of the country for a change, but I guess that would be expecting too much.
Your system is screwed. Both parties are now in election mode, all the time. It’s all about winning the election - governing has little to do with government anymore.
Mitchell wouldn’t anger me nearly as much is what I mean’t to say.
And once again they will think that they have a mandate* when they barely squeaked by with a little over 50% of the vote in many of the races. And once again nothing will get done for the people while the two parties battle it out.
*Unless they mean “man date” … after all, these are Republicans we’re talking about.
You might not be kidding. I’m a liberal hat wearer, but the hat-oriented board I participate in is full of right-leaning folks (mostly Southern/Western males operating on a kind of hat=gun ethos). We’re heavily modded, and politics is a nono, but we always find ways to express our beliefs culturally. I hold up my end, but it’s tiring.
You don’t live here but please, please join in New York’s celebration that Paladino lost. Paladino never really had a chance (partially because Cuomo seemed to have been anointed based on his fadda), but the fact that he was even chosen to run illustrates the stoopit this year.
I’m distraught that so many of Palin’s candidates lost. Now there’s no room in her ass for my boot. On the plus side, Joe Miller will eventually go down in flames (once the calliope stops shrieking), giving Sarah a big-time loss in her own fucking state. Fuck you, you bitch.
Fucking Democrats! Pissed it away with their bullshit placating of the right, wimpy inabilty to play the political game the way the Republicans do. Say what you want about the voters, but the Democrats are absolutely pathetic when it comes to principled governing.
:dubious: These two statements very nearly contradict each other.
