The Snopes link you posted a few years back about how you were the original creator of that quote doesn’t seem to work, and the only thing in Snopes right now about Bob Marley quotes is something else entirely. Can you provide a current link that supports your claim?
BTW, the only thing I can find on the internet linking your name to that quote was a Reddit posting saying that you made the claim twice in this very thread.
That snopes link looks like it was a link to the now defunct message boards, so
it was probably never an actual snopes article as such…
That’s sort of like posting an ad in a newspaper, and then saying that any claim in that ad is valid because it was published in a newspaper.
Sometimes context matters.
