Fucking maskholes and vaxholes

Follow-up today:

It doesn’t seem that she did. I looked at all the restaurants in her ZIP Code, and none of them seem to be hers…

Interesting. Nice detective work!

Maserschmidt, we prefer that posters not “research” private individuals and post the results on the SDMB. While the information you were looking for would have been public knowledge, at some point collecting personal information about someone and sharing it online turns into doxxing. Since there’s not really a bright line about how much personal information can be gathered in one place before it can become potentially harmful, we find it best not to engage in this sort of research at all.

No warning issued, but please avoid doing this again.

So, Michigan restauranteur blows off mask rules, gets jail.

Idaho state legislature (Republicans, in particular) blow of mask rules, get Covid-19, vote themselves a two-week vacation. (Did any articles on the subject mention if they are getting paid?)

Ah, okay, sorry about that.

I guess these people holding a mask burning rally in Phoenix because “free-dumb” fall into the category of maskholes.

Also, anti-vaxxing bullshit.

Like burning bras!!

They probably see it more like burning draft cards.

Soon enough we’ll be burning large piles of COVID-killed bodies. With luck most of those pictured will be on the pile.

Keepin’ an eye on the Idaho state legislature to see if that happens!

I believe there has been a late breaking report by a Baltimore reporter, Eddie Poe.

And now was acknowledged the presence of the Red Death. He had come like a thief in the night. And one by one dropped the revellers in the blood-bedewed halls of their revel, and died each in the despairing posture of his fall. And the life of the ebony clock went out with that of the last of the gay. And the flames of the tripods expired. And Darkness and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable dominion over all.

Well, if the survivors will just learn a lesson from this, maybe they’ll finally say “Nevermore!”

Sure, blame the gays.

Kansas:

No, they’ll just keep raven’.

A woman in Brooklyn who had filed a personal injury law suit, had her case thrown out by the judge because her lawyer refused to wear a mask in court.

“Law shit” could be perfectly cromulent, depending on the frivolity.

Ha, ha, I fixed it before you posted.

At the intersection of maskhole and regular entitled asshole…

The other night I get a call to come to the front of the store. The cashier and the cart attendant are there and tell me one of the customers parked in a no-parking zone that everyone uses anyway, and decided to kick over the newly installed “No Parking” sign.

Let’s be clear: the spot is not a parking spot. It is a curb cut in the parking lot to lead to the next parking lot over, except that lot is currently a grassy field, so it’s a driveway to nowhere. But it has the curbs painted red as a fire lane, so it’s a no parking zone. However, everybody likes to use it because it’s easy to pull into and close to the front of the store. And the police periodically come and ticket people parked there, but not too often.

Recently, it appears someone installed an actual “No Parking” sign. This guy apparently pulled in, didn’t like the sign, so he kicked it over. Then came in to shop like nothing was wrong.

I approached him casually to ask how he was doing, but he didn’t complain about the sign to me. So I follow him out the door, to see if I can get a picture of his license plate. However, the pictures aren’t clear and it was too far for me to make out. Until he drove right past the front of the store to yell at me, “Hey, I’m a two-time veteran who fought for your freedom, you be sure to put that in your report!” Then I got a good look at his license plate number.

I’m sorry, I didn’t realize being a veteran gave you permission to disregard the occasional law, from minor traffic violations to destruction of property.

By the way, the sign wasn’t even Walmart property, and we likely aren’t going to do anything, probably not even file a report. So it’s city property he damaged.

And yes, this guy was not wearing a mask in the store.
