I could not get over that story last night. Just picture being on that plane for two hours and having to turn around. How did they keep that woman safe from the other passengers?

A parent got in trouble for saying at a school board meeting that she would be bringing her guns to school if they forced her child to wear a mask. Of course once the police showed up she said it was a figure of speech:

She’s not in trouble (yet).
I hope she does get in trouble; i.e. arrested and tried on terrorism charges, etc. but as of now, she’s walking free.
Would she feel the same, that it was just acceptable hyperbole, if she was the one being threatened?
She has already apologized, before any police action was taken.

I doubt that she has the resources to pay the airline back and all the passengers. But I would love to see 100 + lawsuits come up against her.
I think the insurance industry is really missing out. They should offer umbrella moron insurance to cover fines and restitution for these fine folks. Like all insurance, you may need to get pre-authorization to throw some fits or they may not be covered.
