Fucking maskholes and vaxholes

The article does close with the curious statement:

They hаve since morphed into аnti-COVID-19 rаllies.

Which…sounds like something I would support? Is that like the March of Dimes?

Ah, that’s because it’s an automated lift of an article from Newsweek with some changes thrown in to disguise it. Here’s the original article:

Also, it’s apparently not even true: https://stamant.ca/blog/news/statement-regarding-visitations-at-st-amant/

St. Amant is an Autism care facility. It doesn’t seem likely they would provide “palliative care”.

At St.Amant, Designated Family Caregivers, who are unvaccinated are welcome to visit within the visitation pod (which is away from all other residents).

Those are electrons which do have mass. These are are massless photons. They’re total massholes.

Schroedinger’s maskhole?

FWIW, Fortune is reporting the same thing.

Klassen said he hasn’t been able to visit his nine-year-old daughter in months. She is receiving palliative care at St. Amant, a care residence in Winnipeg, but due to restrictions that require visitors to be fully vaccinated, Klassen and his wife can’t see her.

ETA – better info from the Western Standard:

Klassen said Sophia was born with special needs and has required assistance all her life. She has been in palliative care at St. Amant for more than five years.

“Sophia doesn’t communicate verbally,” said Klassen, adding, “she communicates through physical touch and cuddling and gets very upset if we can’t hold her when we visit.”

Klassen said his wife was able to see her occasionally but was also restricted due to her vaccination status. He said the visitation pods did not allow them to physically connect with Sophia which upset their daughter a great deal.

No, it’s not. Get the vaccine. Go be with your daughter. Some things are more important than your “freedumb of choice”.

Seems he wants the “freedom” to infect vulnerable children with a life threatening disease. What an asshole.

You need a license to catch fish, but not to have a child. Mommy and Daddy are afraid of needles, and their daughter is stuck in a hospital. Might be the best thing for the child I suppose.

Textbook cognitive dissonance: the man had believed, without evidence and likely with near-religious fervor, that NO ONE would wear a mask voluntarily. He’d clung to the fantasy that anyone wearing a mask was a timid soul knuckling under to a Tyrannical Government.

So now he sees people wearing masks—and can’t process the information that they are wearing them voluntarily. Worse, the implication inevitably arises that they had been wearing them voluntarily all along—a complete contradiction to the belief he’d been clinging to for months (that no one wears masks voluntarily).

“Frantic” doesn’t even begin to describe his mental state, no doubt. I hope he was able to collect himself enough to get home.

Snowboarding dad terrifies his kids and fights security guards because ‘sovereign’.

Isn’t this imbécile supposed to be in Ottawa?
