yeah, apparently the Paperwork Gods have been appeased.

And I got my dresser. We’ll see about the rebate/discount.

Now I just have to deal with the contractor who broke my sprinkler system attempting to repair it and left the water running for between 4-6 hours, flooding my yard ankle deep.

Have a SMALL mortgage on rental house. Moved and changed address *IN writing * and ON the phone. WM mailed: NEED flood insurance on property ASAP, to OLD address. I get it three weeks late. Call them, say I have Food insurance, have the policy faxed over from insurance company. Ask them if they have my new and correct address. Oh yes, no problem sorry for the mix up blah blah blah.

Three weeks later another letter sent to the old(and incorrect addrss) tells me WM took out flood insurance because I dodn’t have any on the property…call them up: What the hells going on? Oh it’s taken care of. Sorry for the mix up. Do you have my correct address? Oh yes. Then WTF are you sending things to the other address??? Like I said PIKERS… We’re paying off the damn house this year. :cool:

How does one counter a flood insurance problem claim? Just fax them the paperwork every five minutes? Or would that be harrasment?

There is an asshat lawyer holding up the fucking closing.

He doesn’t care that WaMu has crossed the eyes and dotted the tees.

He doesn’t care that the title company who objected to our title now is more than willing to issue title insurance on this house.

He doesn’t care that everyone wants to close tomorrow.

He doesn’t care so much that he is out of fucking communication and left with just the word “no” on advising his fucking client to fucking sign the deal tomorrow.

So instead of draggin my ass across two counties to give away my house keys tomorrow, we’ll be sitting on pins and needles, hoping this sob can be found and knocked some sense into, or we’re going to have to pay the mortgage on the fucking place for two more months while we look for another seller (for some reason the RE thinks our backup offers won’t come back) and put it back on the market.

$1000 earnest money he’s forfieting doesn’t even begin to cover what we need to cover for what’s coming up and the mortgage on that damn piece of land and house for the next couple of months.
