(Old) Fun Facts in the MMP!

From several weeks ago:

I’ve never had nor seen vegemite before. This looks like it is a spread. That’s not at all what I’ve thought it is.

Well, the Dr’s office called and said that the vaccination that Hubs was scheduled for does not work well with steroids so they postponed the vaccination and said today’s appointment could be a video visit and we wouldn’t have to drive down to the office. The Dr. agreed to reduce the dosage on the steroid and sent the scrip to the local pharmacy. As I mentioned earlier, I had already called for the gout meds to be refilled at the Cancer Pavillion Pharmacy. So, I had to call them and cancel that refill then call the local pharmacy and ask them to fill it. We also asked the Dr if the meds for atrial fibrilation could be lowered and she said, not her area of expertise, we needed to message the heart Dr. So, I did. Hubs got a call saying he needs to go in for an appointment. We just saw the heart Dr. in the late fall. Cripes. So, I had Hubs call back and say that if it could be a video visit by 3/31 (since Medicare is scheduled to not pay for video visits after that date thanks to the South African nepo baby) or an in-person visit on the same day that Hubs is scheduled to go in to see the Stem Cell Transplant Dr, 4/8, that would be do-able. Instead he was told that no appointments were available until June. I told him to tell them to Bite Me.

On the good news front, Daughter called the dealership and asked if the price of the car could be reduced. Salesman said $300. She said “if you make it $500, I’ll say yes right now.” He said “I have to talk to the manager”. Well, you know it’s just a negotiation game and the amount he said at first was not the best and final amount that the price could be reduced. So, he called back and said OK. Now she’s having an issue getting ahold of her insurance agent. Hopefully that happens soon.

Yay! We’re sisters marching for democracy together approx 2,300+ miles apart.
