Fun new tower defence game

I just beat the whole game, so I have to share:

It’s called Ghost Hacker, and it’s a bit different than your average TD. Instead of upgrading towers, each towers has certain points where you can attach functions. There’s some sort of story about A.I.'s and evil cabals of whatever, but I stopped paying attention halfway through.
Normally I’m pretty mediocre at TD games, at least compared to the people who post on TD messege boards. “Oh, I think the last few levels of Extremely Hard Insanity Mode were too easy, there were only fifty creeps per tower at most.” It give me an inferiority complex when I’m struggling through Easy Kid Mode. So this time I said to myself, “You say it’s easy? I’m gonna beat Ghost Hacker perfectly on every level, or explode my brain trying.” Well, it turns out that if you get perfect scores on all the levels you get three bonus levels that- well, I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise. Suffice it to say that it was a surprise.

My spell check isn’t working, so I’m going to have to cut my ramlbing short (or at least use smaller words). So, uh, it’s a fun game. Check it out.

The best TD game I’ve played in a long while is Bunny Flags, which is more dynamic than most I’ve seen. It has no set paths and enemies can come from several directions, so some of the harder levels were a bit tricky until I started figuring out ways of building blockades to funnel them into a zone of death and destruction. Also, the upgrades can really change the gameplay, so it’s fun to just try different options.

Maybe I should start a general thread about the best TD games. I have quite a few I really like.

I gave up on it when I couldn’t get past level 9 (badrecipe.com).

I think a general TD games thread would be great. I noticed some downloadable games on that site. I’m on dial-up, and have trouble playing online games. I’d love to know if any of the downloadable ones are good.

Okay, give me a bit. I had a whole OP planned out in my head yesterday that I didn’t write because no one asked. So I’ll have to recompose it.
