Years ago we made a product that was also sold in Europe.
We would crate up the mold, about 3000 lbs of steel, and ship it overseas.
I was told the shipping cost of the parts and import duty was more than shipping the mold and having them made in country.
One year we went to the local tourist bureau and got all kinds of pamphlets, a local paper, and other items about the local area, and put them in the wooden crate.
A few months later when we got the crate back our English counterparts did the same. Made factory work a little more enjoyable that week.
