The funny part about this was that instead of getting in trouble with MacArthur, which was his plan, the general is impressed, and just snaps him a crisp salute. The really funny part was that the whole camp was all worked up about MacArthur’s visit, and he just rode through the camp in a Jeep.

I love this bit even though I’ve never seen it, but I just learned from Wikipedia that after the news of Lieutenant Colonel Blake’s death shocked the nation, The Carol Burnett Show the following evening opened with a shot of McLean Stevenson on a smoking raft, waving his arms, and hollering, “I’m OK! I’m OK!” 
Henry: (working Trapper through the minefield) Take a step and a half to your right, and you should be in downtown Berlin.
Trapper: Berlin!?
Hawkeye: Berlin? (takes the map): This is a WWII surplus map!

From the MASH episode “A Smattering of Intelligence”, where I believe Col Flagg is first introduced, and a friend of Trapper’s, Captain Pratt is sent to spy on Col Flagg, Captain Pratt tells Maj. Frank that he’s there to investigate the concept of amphibious MASH units, which Frank claims he’s thought of himself - I think Trapper gives the obvious joke “We can call ourselves the Titanic”, but more amusing to me is Hawkeye (I’m sure it’s Hawkeye) response to Frank “I was among those who said this camp would never fly”.
All right, maybe a funnier one I haven’t seen in this thread yet - from the “Captain Tuttle” episode - Hawkeye and Trapper are walking out of the OR, when a voice on the PA orders Captain Tuttle to report to Col Blake’s office. Hawkeye and Trapper look at each other, and Hawkeye asks Trapper “Should we go back inside and build one?”
I’ve always heard that. Does anyone have a link to the video of it?
