I just had the pleasure of seeing Eddie Izzard’s “Dress to Kill.” He may well be the funniest man alive! There’s something about blokes with lipstick…
“Have you got a flag?”

There were a lot of scenes from the Jackass movie that were side-splittingly hilarious. Particularly when they set off fireworks in Bam Margera’s parents bedroom. The best shot is one taken across the street- you can hear whats going on and from all the flashing lights coming out of the window you’d think there was a gunfight going on in the house. And if that wasn’t funny enough, his dad staggers in his van to leave for work a few hours later, only to discover the van is rigged as well!
In real life, the funniest thing I had ever seen was when I went into a gas station to pick up a bite to eat for lunch, and see the clerk frantically chasing a dog around. The dog ran in front of the soda fountain, and took an enormous dump right on a brand new mat. The whole store reeked of dog poop. Everybody left. Quickly. There was a deliveryman there who was waiting for the lady to sign something and I could see he was having a very hard time stifling a laugh at the situation. Perhaps the funniest thing about it was the manner in which the clerk was reacting; she was completely freaking out and screaming at the dog- its almost as though the dog pooped in there out of spite
Homer:
“I’ll just paint bunnies on the light sockets so Maggie won’t go near them.”
Marge:
“But Maggie’s not afraid of bunnies.”
Homer:
“Oh, she will be. She will be…”
and
The Phone Cops episode of WKRP… especially the scene where Johnny thinks the Phone Cops are after him, and the rest of the cast thinks he’s dead because the transmitter station (where Johnny had been broadcasting from) had blown up. The staff is all standing around mourning, when Johnny comes running in the room shouting “You didn’t see me! You didn’t see me!”, and then hides behind the couch.
Brilliant.
Oh yeah, and the Chuckles the Clown episode of The Mary Tyler Moore show… all of it, especially the funeral.
I don’t know why this makes me laugh, but it does every single time. Just thinking of it makes me giggle.
It’s the episode where HOmer finds out his mother is alive. He goes to the grave that he always thought was hers. Of course, it’s not. It’s Walt Whitman’s. Then he yells “CURSE YOU WALT WHITMAN!”
Like I said, I don’t know why it does it for me, but it does.
