Funniest Wedding Sequence in the Movies

As crappy a movie as it was, I liked the wedding sequence from Saving Silverman. Amanda Peet rushing towards Steve Zahn, looking as if she’s going to leap into his arms, then picking up a chair and bashing the holy hell out of him is pretty funny. And Jack Black holding R. Lee Ermey tenderly in his arms is great. “I now pronounce you man . . . and man. You may kiss the man.”
And then there’s the celebratory singing of Neil Diamond’s “Holly Holy” at the end. With Neil.
Too bad small screen weddings aren’t eligible. I’d throw in Grandpa Simpson interrupting Mrs. Bouvier and Mr. Burns by crashing into the aisle, and Marge’s reaction to Homer wanting to remarry her: “Am I pregnant?”

But are referring to the wrong wedding or the right wedding?

“The In-laws” was pretty funny, but too long ago to recall specifics…

c_goat, you beat me to it! I’m sitting here chuckling away just at the memory of it. Man, I want that one on DVD!

Rowan Atkinson’s first wedding as the priest was pretty good too.
He stumbled through the whole thing.
“In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spigot”

Means he was bohemian. Not well received in Middleamerica.

Yes, with her corset creaking as she goes back up the aisle…

The wedding scene (or wedding cancellation scene) in Arthur is pretty danged funny.

Blind Date

“Oh and kill the Dog” just cracks me up everytime I hear it.
