Pretty funny, but mystifying as well: what on earth are the people doing in that picture? Is it some kind of hippie confab?
They appear to be worshipping it. The spirit inhabiting the tree is probably horrified and wishing a good old-fashioned heathen would come along and chase away the scary naked muddy neo-pagans and dump a bottle of mead on its roots so it can drink deeply and forget this day ever happened.
They’re tree hugging hippies who have gone just that little bit too kooky.
