Gotta share Planes, Trains, and Plantains: The story of Oedipus
A friend sent this and it had me in stitches. I haven’t laughed this hard since Joker’s boner. The teacher’s remarks, especially with -2 for language had me gasping for breath.
While it may be a fake (only a D?), it is absolutely hilarious! Enjoy!
Funny, but I think it must be fake; on page 3 (the blank one), the teacher has written ‘page is to big’
There once was a man named Oedipus Rex/
You may have heard about his odd complex/
His name appears in Freud’s index/
'Cause he loved his mother…
Also, in the first paragraph of the essay, the statement that “Oedipus will be remembered through out time” is not corrected with a note that “throughout” is one word.
And it says “see after class”, not “see me”
IANAD*, but this is a pretty funny folk tale.
My Ancient Lit teacher wouldn’t give me a D on this, he’d throw it at my head. And laugh hysterically.
What is this guy smoking and where can I get some?
