I have found the perfect guide to use when dealing with a peacenik or war protestor:
With all of this talk of impending war, many of us will encounter “Peace Activists” who will try and convince us that we must refrain from retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001. These activists may be alone or in a gathering…most of us don’t know how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette:
Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They will
probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.
In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the face.
When the person gets up off of the ground, they will be very angry and they may try to hit you, so be careful.
Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if they are really committed to a non-violent approach to undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a
solution. Tell them they must lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.
Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct.
As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much harder. Square in the face.
Repeat steps 2-5 until the desired results are obtained and the idiot realizes how stupid of an argument he/she is making.
There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting victim or a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people. It is unacceptable and must be dealt with. Perhaps at a high cost. We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for us and our
children. We must support them and our leaders at times like these. We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep getting hit in the face…

And if I’m not mistaken, you’re on the shitlist of at least one other mod of the SDMB. This stuff you posted, while plagiarized, ain’t from the Patriot Forums either. It’s a modified version of some old glurge and in all likelyhood, ain’t copyrighted, so there’s not a hell of a lot I can do about it.
In any case: a) I’d greatly prefer it if you didn’t post glurge of any sort to the SDMB, and b) I require that you do not ever again copy, in its entirety, shit you find on other websites to the SDMB. If it’s something you feel gotta share, and there should be damned little of that, you can post a link to wherever you found it.
You are treading on thin ice here, chewbasta. And the temperature is rising. You would be well advised to re-read your membership agreement before posting here again. If you have questions about that agreement, my e-mail, and that of the rest of the staff, is available to you. Failure to follow the rules in the user agreement will result in removal of your privileges at this message board.
And a further note, I’m not terribly pleased with the physical threats contained in “your” post. I don’t wanna see anything like that from you again either.
If I may: Homer, Alaska is not exactly the hotbed of political unrest, but has its thinking element. During the recent Iraqi invasion, about a dozen women stood peacefully on a corner, holding signs protesting America’s involvement, and generally exercising their First Amendment rights.
A local guy, apparently with Chewbasta’s lack of regard for the Bill of Rights, rode by in the back of his pickup not once, but twice, and dumped buckets of ice water on the women, one of whom was (as I recall), some 70 years of age. He then dismounted from the truck and got physical with one of the younger people. The genius even had the whole thing videotaped.
He was arrested and charged with assault and with several counts of violation of constitutional rights. His defense was that he has a son serving in Iraq and therefore has the right to attack anyone who is against the war. He was convicted of harassment and one count of violating constitutional rights.
“Handle war protesters”? Go right ahead. Hope someone visits you in prison.
