Boxer David Tu’a appears on Wheel of Fortune.
No video link, but I remember one from the Scrabble game show. The player chose his two tiles, got his letters, and the host said, “The clue is, ‘Cher has plenty of this,’ and your letters are T and A.”
Progress on the game was slowed significantly for a while, there.

There was this one from one of Ken Jennings’ appearances on Jeopardy!:

In another appearance, he ran a category about mixed drinks and then commented on how unlikely it was for a Mormon to do so.
That was pretty funny, but I’ll bet Steve has passed around more then a few joints in his day…I did LOL when the collection plate came in lower though.

Not a funny ha-ha moment but still a really bizarre story that’s worth the hour it will take to watch the documentary if you have time: Michael Larson on Press Your Luck Part 1 (and the afterward is weirder than the episode)
If someone could track down the video, I’d love to see it: A friend of mine won a large amount of money on a game show hosted by Dick Clark. When he asked my friend what he would do with the money, the answer was “I’m going to use it to get a sex-change operation”–which she’s since done.

From the Jeopardy International Tournament. Per Gunnar (my favourite contestant from the tourney) gives this answer to an ‘International Anatomy’ question. His accent makes it even funnier.
Richard Dawon’s inability to control himself is such a hoot. It’s #1 on my list.
